Our department Connectivity & UCC “Cluster Connectivity”, is an international team of experts to provide stable and innovative services to all business segments. The team is being established to design services and manage our strategic providers to the maximum of collaboration and innovation. Working closely with our Business and IT colleagues we are looking to establish a highly skilled team to champion, promote and drive through this agenda both locally in Czech Republic and the international business. As Service Manager in this department, you will be responsible for steering services in the area of WAN, LAN, WiFi and site-to-site VPN. To start as soon as possible, you will work with international teams on the provision of services for the various businesses of innogy SE (e.g. for Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary) at the Essen, Prague or Budapest locations.

Your tasks:
  • Prepare specifications of services in the areas of WAN connectivity, in-house/campus LAN, site-to-site VPN connections and WiFi solutions
  • Analyse requirements from the business segments of innogy SE and from the corporate/IT strategies
  • Accompany the implementation of solution concepts with selected service providers in an international corporate environment
  • Analyse market offers, monitor and evaluate technology trends
  • Support the definition and maintenance of the solution portfolio; develop and maintain service descriptions and the service catalogue
  • Support in the implementation of innovative solutions as part of a team
  • Carry out customer workshops to define requirements and corresponding proof-of-concepts
  • Administrative coordination of network solutions with affiliated IT units (Applications, Client, Security and Data Centre Services)
  • Contribute to assessment, selection and steering of suppliers and partners for network connectivity solutions
  • Assure and verify that the need service quality and capacity fits with the customer requirements
  • Steer administrative processes (contract awarding, status control, accounting) for the scope of functions
  • Assume all relevant financial tasks (budgeting, price calculation, cost control and invoicing)
  • Assure an effective communication across the department, external partners and customers of various organisational units
  • Coordinate the solution of complex and critical connectivity services
  • Build on networking with other teams and partners based onb mutal trust and joint understanding
Your profile:
  • Higher education degree in computer science, business informatics, communications engineering, or other “STEM” disciplines with initial work experience
  • 2 years of experience in the area of IT architecture or network management
  • Basic knowledge of IT security solutions and technologies
  • Knowledge of field service activities and network configuration and installation
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL, specifically of ITIL Service Strategy and Design
  • Good understanding of commercial, legal and procurement processes
  • Experience in project work, e.g. planning and coordinating IT projects
  • Very good spoken and written Czech and English
  • Conflict handling skills, reliability, assertiveness
  • Analytical thinking / confident manner and strong customer focus, service- minded and solution-oriented attitude
  • Readiness to travel (national & international) and flexibility
